Virtual Exhibitors - Important Information
This page will be a regular source of ideas and support to help
your company get the most from your virtual exhibit.
Give Attendees a Reason to Visit Your Booth!
- Offer a "Virtual Show Special."
- Offer an incentive to attendees for leaving a virtual business
card.
- Give attendees a specific date to come back to your booth for
new product information.
- Write your copy specifically for the online attendee.
- Increase contacts with your company by listing your booth personnel.
- Target online attendees! They want to learn more about
your company and have easy access to information.
Your booth includes a link to your home page. Consider creating
a special "entry" page for visitors coming to your site
from SGIA's Virtual Trade Show. This is great way to provide product
literature. Look for a full article with instructions on this subject
here soon.
Booth Setup Tips and Tricks:
- Use your company logo and other images. If you need help preparing
your file, contact tech@sgia.org.
- Keep text short and to the point. Attendees like a quick read
and easy access to vendors. Avoid long paragraphs. Use two "break" commands
to create a line between paragraphs.
- Limited use of bold type is very effective and holds
attendee interest. Too much bold type is hard to read in some
web browsers.
- Use bullets to focus attendee attention on important points.
IMPORTANT - The terms in "Capabilities" are used
to drive the Products and Services search. Be sure to check any
and all that apply to your company.
