Digital UV Inkjet is one of the most promising and exciting imaging technologies currently entering the market. It presents unique opportunities for those companies that are committed to embracing this new technology and applying it to any number of markets they may serve.
While the new technology presents opportunities not available to users of water- or dye-based inkjet systems — reduced need for lamination, improved durability, and the opportunity to print on an increasingly wide variety of substrates — the technology is still under development. The future of this technology, however, is promising. The purpose of the Digital UV Printing Information Center is to provide technology users with the information they need to make informed decisions about digital UV technology, equipment and market opportunities.
