What is Ergonomics?

Ergonomics is the science and practice of designing jobs and workplaces to match the capabilities and limitations of the human body. Unfortunately, the work activities and equipment used within the screen printing and graphic imaging industry do not always match the capabilities and limitations of employees.

Only careful observation and evaluation of the specific job task sequence can tell you if the job expectations are within reasonable employee physical limits. If they are not, a company may then be faced with a possible ergonomic issue and the potential for future employee injuries.
