SGIA’s 2008 Membrane Switch Symposium was a great event for the membrane switch industry, bringing in 23 exhibitors and more than 250 professionals tied to this high-tech niche market. They spent three days sharing insight, educating one another and seeing the latest technologies for membrane switch production.
The symposium, held at the Crowne Plaza St. Paul–Riverfront in St. Paul, Minnesota, was a jam-packed experience for attendees with:
- Top industry exhibitors at the membrane-switch specific trade show
- Highly informative sessions on the market’s technologies and trends
- Plant tours to 3M Innovation Center and Sefar Printing Solutions
- Networking opportunities that included golf and a welcome reception dinner
“This was my first symposium and I found it to be very informative,” says attendee Mike Hecht with Esterline – Memtron Input Components.
“I learned something from every one of the presenters,” says attendee Mark Bieberich with Arizant. “This was the first year I attended. I was impressed with the attitude of the companies present to be leaders of their fields. The symposium was truly future-focused and looking to where the technology is going,” Bieberich adds.
SGIA would like to thank the attendees, exhibitors and Membrane Switch Council for making the 2008 symposium a phenomenal success. Stay tuned for details on the 2009 Membrane Switch Symposium. |
