Richmond Graphic Products, an industry leader in manufacturing quality screen printing equipment for over 45 years will be featuring its DirectJET CTS (computer to screen) system. Since 1995 Richmond has pioneered the development of high resolution inkjet direct to screen imposing for all phases of the screen printing industry.
The DirectJET eliminates film cost and all of the associated problems that are inherent with film; storage, retrieval, inspection, dust, chemistry. In a one shift operation, the labor savings runs between 1.4 - 2 personnel or 56 - 60 labor hours per week. Just as importantly, screens can be produced on a "just in time" basis with the images placed on the screen to three decimal places of accuracy from screen to screen.
With recent technological advancements, the DirectJET is ideally suited for the membrane switch industry because of its high resolution capabilities, speed and low cost water based ink. Well over a year ago, Richmond placed its first DirectJET system into Memtronik Innovations, a well-known, high profile membrane switch manufacturer in Canada. We will have on display a representative number of their membrane switches and other products all of which have been produced using the Richmond DirectJET system.
